SENES: PRO-AGING AND INDIVIDUAL SKIN CARE
On Senes, aging factors like time, sun and pollutants degrade skin’s ability to heal itself. Though these factors are universal, individual skin type and race alter the effects and timeline of aging.

Over time, wealthy Senes inhabitants came to wear biofilms daily; those who could not afford biofilms were outcasts, viewed as irresponsible and at risk of harming the people around them.
Today, skin protection practices determine economic opportunities and social standing on Senes. The most affluent Senes inhabitants use innovative techniques to express their unique journeys through life with designer skin shields.
Long ago, Senes inhabitants sought ways to both protect their individually aging skin and maintain its unique aesthetic and aging process.
They employed BioDesigners to grow and sell personalized biofilms which mirror an individual's real skin pigmentation, texture, and even tattoos and piercings. Exposed to sun and pollutants, these films “age” but the human skin beneath them remains safe from degradation.
