Micah is a designer, curator and artist who works across mediums (performance, runway and exhibition) to build progressive speculative futures.For Collected Dermafutures, Micah served as the team manager, producer, concept co-creator and script writer. He also played a role in SCOBY experimentation and production and concept art creation.

Exhibition Director
As a peace engineer, Maya strives to incorporate community-based design into environmental engineering projects. For the Collected Dermafutures exhibit, she contributed significantly toward concept creation, music composition, sound engineering, video editing, and user-interface design. She also played a role in concept art development and biological literature review.

Immersion Engineer
Belinda is an exhibition designer. In the exhibition 'Collected Dermafutures', she proposed the concept of 'skin bubble', made an abstract visual model of the diversity of the skin world, designed and produced the installation. She also assisted in video footage collection, concept art development and documentation.

Emma is studying Design Research at Drexel University's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. For Collected Dermafutures, she co-led SCOBY experimentation and contributed significant research and concept art to each built world.

Emma Meyers
Illustrative Technologist
For Collected Dermafutures, DJ contributed by researching the social and biological interaction between diversity and skin, mobility and aging. She analyzed the ways in which race, age and other factors influence skin function and growth, allowing the team to "diagnose" gaps in medicine and research surrounding under-represented groups.

As a creative thinker and ambitious learner, Kate loves to develop interdisciplinary solutions for challenging problems. For Collected Dermafutures, she contributed to world-building and advertisement and concept art development. She also played a role in compiling the social and biological literature review.

Kate Lindberg
Conceptual Designer
Sepha is studying Design Research at the Westphal College of Drexel University. For Collected Dermafutures, she co-led SCOBY research and early experimentation. She also developed zines which explore skin, age, and SCOBY ethics.

With his experience in visual design, three-dimensional visualization, and mix-method research, Tyler continues to expand how we communicate ideas effectively. For Collected Dermafutures, he developed supplemental graphics.

Tyler Fulton
Media Consultant
Dee is an associate professor and the director of the Drexel MS Design Research Program. Dee also is the founder of the Drexel Design Research for Health Lab, where they do evidence based speculative projects in health, bio design, and Salutogenesis. For the Collected Dermafutures exhibit, Dee was a faculty advisor who contributed guidance and sponsorship of the design project.
